4. Miguel Cabrera

Miguel Cabrera is a first baseman for the Detroit Tigers. He doesn’t seem to believe that the Astros should lose their World Series title. In fact, he seems to accept and fully understand their decision to steal signs.

"“In the end … it’s baseball. [Try to] go ahead and do it like those guys did.” – Miguel Cabrera, via ESPN"

Though he doesn’t seem to agree with the ethics of stealing signs, he doesn’t feel as though it’s his place to say if the Astros shouldn’t have done it. In an interview with ESPN, he stated, “I don’t think we have the right to tell anybody when they should be done with it. For us, we’ve got to move forward. I owe it to [the Tigers] organization and this team. But your actions have consequences and part of those consequences are going to last for a while because of how wrong it was.”

Cabrera has had a successful career so far and has earned many achievements. He made his MLB debut in 2003 with the Florida Marlins and has won awards for Rookie of the Month, MVP, Player of the Week, Silver Slugger, and Outstanding Player of the Year among many more.
