2. Atlanta Falcons

Staying in the NFC South, what about the Atlanta Falcons? Last month, countless headlines were made when the team said goodbye to Matt Ryan, trading the signal-caller to the Indianapolis Colts.

With Julio Jones long gone as well, this team is in need of a new identity and some playmakers to get fans excited again. Kyle Pitts isn’t going to be able to get that job done on his own, as the standout tight end needs some help.

Enter Samuel and Garoppolo? While Atlanta signed former first-rounder Marcus Mariota to a new contract, his career as a starter never took off from the moment he left Oregon and arrived to the league.

Who knows, perhaps a fresh start with a team like Atlanta could help Garoppolo get things back on track. If he’s got Samuel to throw to, plus a player of Pitts’ caliber as well, it’d really open the door for him in more ways than one.
