While Kyler Murray trade rumors have continued leading up to the NFL Draft, don’t expect any kind of move to happen.

In what’s been such an incredible offseason with trades, don’t think for a second that general managers are done wheeling and dealing just yet. However, Arizona Cardinals GM Steve Keim isn’t ready to make a monster splash people may have been expecting.

There’s been plenty of rumors surrounding Kyler Murray, especially after the drama surrounding his social media during the winter and the two sides reportedly not being close on an extension. Per Keim, though, his superstar signal-caller won’t be going anywhere.

Steve Keim made it clear he won’t be trading Kyler Murray

This goes ahead and puts to rest any idea of Murray playing for a new team next fall. As plenty of people have noted on Twitter, however, both Pete Carroll and John Schneider said the Seahawks wouldn’t be trading Russell Wilson too.

Then, seemingly out of nowhere, Seattle traded the Super Bowl-winner to the Denver Broncos in one of the biggest moves of the offseason. It should be noted that the circumstances are quite different here, as Wilson clearly wasn’t happy with the Seahawks offense and Carroll’s mindset.

That’s not the case between him and Kliff Kingsbury. Murray was seen working out with J.J. Watt not too long ago too, which shows he’s focused on making plays for the Cardinals as well. After a postseason exit in the NFC Wild Card Round this past season, Arizona is hoping to go much further come next winter.

In order for that to happen, Murray is going to have to ball out and not let any of the outside noise get to him. Keim has full faith in Murray leading this team, which is why he has no intention of trading him to a new squad.
