Lane Kiffin is Ubering recruits in a Rolls Royce [Video]
By John Buhler
Look at Lane Kiffin Ubering around recruits in a Rolls Royce for everyone’s enjoyment.
Nobody is changing the recruiting game quite like Lane Kiffin these days.
Kiffin has come a long way since his days of recruiting videos in Boca Raton for FAU. Now entering year three at Ole Miss, Kiffin is straight-up Ubering recruits out of Memphis to Oxford as precious cargo only FedEx could ever hope to provide. Instead of being in a bulky white truck, he is cruising down the street in a Rolls Royce. He has achieved the pinnacle of luxury ride sharing at Ole Miss.
In the dawn of NIL, what is a poor ball coach to do but to take life by the wheel and Uber recruit?

Lane Trains and Automobiles: Lane Kiffin takes recruits wherever they want to go
This TikTok video may be hokey, but isn’t that half of what recruiting is all about? We are talking about Kiffin Ubering recruits, aren’t we? At least he isn’t grinding up on them on a podium like a certain division rival coach once did. Either way, Kiffin will have his work cut out for him to build on last year’s success at Ole Miss. 10 wins and a Sugar Bowl berth was quite the accomplishment.
While there was some debate on how Kiffin’s return to the sidelines as an SEC head coach would go in the decade since the Tennessee fiasco, he seems to be right at home in The ‘Sip. Though the Rebels will pull back to some degree this season, they should be a fixture inside the top 25 for years to come. His team’s offenses are electrifying and Ole Miss looks like a program here to stay.
Ultimately, it remains to be seen how high of a climb Kiffin can take this program. Though lone gone are the Johnny Vaught days, Ole Miss has a chance to be an SEC West contender some years. If he can ever get one of his teams to Atlanta, that would be a remarkable accomplishment for Kiffin. If he is destined to be a younger, SEC West version of Steve Spurrier at South Carolina, cool.
If you have four or five-star talent, request a ride from Lane on the Uber app if you get the chance.
