The Toronto Maple Leafs look to win their 14th Stanley Cup. Here is the last time Toronto actually accomplished that feat.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are one of eight teams in the Eastern Conference to clinch a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Toronto finished the 2021-22 season with the second-best record in the Atlantic Division (54-21-7, 115 points). In the first round, they will face the Tampa Bay Lightning, who won the Stanley Cup the past two seasons.

Toronto has 13 Stanley Cups to their credit, but when was the last time they actually won the championship?

When is the last time the Toronto Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup?

The last time the Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup was in 1967, after they defeated the Montreal Canadiens in six games. To get to the Final, Toronto defeated the Chicago Blackhawks in six games.

Toronto has not been able to win their 14th Stanley Cup ever since. In fact, they never made it back to the Stanley Cup Finals ever since winning it in 1967.
