The 2022 Kentucky Derby is wrapping up and Rich Strike has come out on top. What does that mean for the folks who put money down on this race?
Rich Strike surprised many as he crossed the finish line first for the 2022 Kentucky Derby. Given that many didn’t expect him to come out on top of this race, it’s fair to say that anyone who did, and ended up betting on him, is probably pretty happy right now.
As it turns out, the payouts for trifecta, superfecta, and win-place-show bets is looking pretty good. Anyone who was able to place a bet and get it right is going to be a good bit wealthier when it’s all said and done.

Kentucky Derby trifecta payout
Anyone who is getting a payout from a Kentucky Derby trifecta bet is going to be getting a nice payday here. As noted in Williams’ tweet, the trifecta payout is $14,870.70, which would definitely be nice to have.
Kentucky Derby superfecta payout
Folks who ended up going with the the superfecta are going to be doing pretty well as well. As Williams points out, these individuals would get a $321,500.10 payout for their bet. That’s a pretty solid amount of money.
Kentucky Derby win-place-show payout
And rounding things out would be the win-place-show. Take a look at Williams’ tweet and it’s safe to say the payday coming from that will make some folks pretty happy, all things considered. It looks like the folks who made the right call on that bet will be getting $4,101.20.
