New York Yankees star Aaron Judge was once again called on low strikes, this time against the Texas Rangers.
Back in the New York Yankees‘ series finale against the Toronto Blue Jays, star Aaron Judge was victimized by low pitches that were called strikes by the home plate umpire. That ultimately led to Yankees manager Aaron Boone going ballistic on the official and earning himself an ejection from the game.
During the Yankees’ series finale against the Texas Rangers on Monday afternoon, Judge was once again watched as a pitch below his knees was called a strike. Judge couldn’t help but say something, and the home plate umpire exchanged some words with him.
"He actually called that in a defiant way, and then stared at Judge. Looks like he's trying to show them who's boss." pic.twitter.com/2aM2VRItL3

Aaron Judge once again sees low pitches called strikes by home plate umpire
As YES Network play-by-play commentator Michael Kay said, the umpired made the call “in a defiant way,” and stared at Judge.
This happened when the bases were loaded for New York. For those wondering how the at-bat ended for Judge, he struck out swinging on a 94.6-mph sinker thrown by Brock Burke. Anthony Rizzo was called out on strikes to strand the runners and end the inning.
Judge’s being called on low pitches was not the story of the game, however. Starting pitcher Nestor Cortes carried a no-hitter into the eighth inning and recorded one out before surrendering a bloop single to Eli White.
