Denver Broncos 2022 NFL schedule: 5 must-win games
The Denver Broncos have a lot of work to do in 2022, and these are five must-win games for them.
With a lot of new blood in town, the Broncos are looking to improve off a dead last division finish in 2021. That goal is possible, but it will take a lot of culture change and work for progress to happen.
After picking up Russell Wilson to take over the starting quarterback duties, the Broncos have a little life in them. Their 2022 NFL Draft class was probably a B+ at best, but they did pick up some much-needed edge rusher in Nik Bonitto.
Denver could have had a better draft, but they are currently in a rebuilding time, so right now, it works because they landed a quarterback like Wilson.
It’s only up from here for the Broncos, and his influence will help with Wilson at the helm. Since Payton Manning retired, he has been the first true franchise quarterback, so it’s good to see the Broncos finally have a solid signal-caller to lead that offense.
The Broncos haven’t made a postseason since that Super Bowl 50 win, and that is wild to think about, but looking at the 2022 opponents, Denver could finally see a more successful season.
After going 7-10 in 2021, and 1-5 in the division, there is a lot of room for improvement. There is a lot of movement going on with the Chargers, and even the Raiders, which could help the Broncos could make some moves in 2022.
Two of the Broncos’ games have already gotten announced as they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8 for one of the overseas games. They will also take on the LA Rams on Christmas Day.
That game at SoFi Stadium is one to watch because it could go a lot of different ways and where it is in the season, but here are five games on the schedule that are a must-win for the Broncos as they look to earn more than seven wins.
