4. Best games on the 2022 NFL schedule – Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers

This battle between two of the NFC’s recent superpowers has been one-sided in recent years. The Packers have won their last two meetings against the Rams, including a Divisional Round victory in January of 2021 and a key late-season meeting in November of the same year.

Both of those meetings came at Lambeau Field, which will again be the site of this year’s Packers-Rams showdown. The desire to find a way to beat Green Bay will surely be a motivational tactic for Los Angeles head coach Sean McVay, who will now be facing the challenge of finding new ways to get his players up for games after they accomplished their goal of winning a Super Bowl.

This showdown will also have big stakes for home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs. Green Bay has earned that advantage in each of the last two seasons and would like to keep it despite losing playoff games at Lambeau in the process.

This is also one of the key measuring stick games for the Packers, who had to tweak their roster to keep Aaron Rodgers happy while remaining compliant with the salary cap. The new formula will get a stiff test here against the defending Super Bowl champs.
