The Toronto Maple Leafs looked as if they were destined to move onto round two in the Stanley Cup playoff but things went south about halfway through the third period.

During a 5-on-3 power play, the Lightning tied the game up with 10 minutes left in regulation.

They proceeded to score the winning goal in overtime. However, that game-winner came on the heels of a questionable call — or, rather, a lack thereof.

Killorn was a highly penalized player throughout the season and the refs should have paid close attention to him during such a pivotal playoff matchup. He had the most penalty minutes of his entire career this season. In 2021-2022, the forward spent 66 minutes in the penalty box and the Lightning as a team finished with the second-most penalties in the league.
