2. Week 8: at Buffalo Bills (Sunday, Oct. 30)

Admittedly, it is hard to pick out one single game from the most brutal stretch the Packers face this season from a travel perspective. Beginning with their neutral-site affair in London vs. the New York Giants in Week 5, Green Bay will play only one home game over the next month. Their road opponents may not be all that menacing, but playing the Buffalo Bills on Oct. 30 is rough.

Although getting the New York Jets at home in Week 6 feels like a bye, the Packers’ actual bye does not actually come until Week 14. After hosting the Jets, the Packers will travel to the nation’s capital to play the Washington Commanders before taking on the Bills as a part of Sunday Night Football in Week 8. Their third road game will be at the rival Detroit Lions the following weekend.

On paper, the Packers may only face one team that is arguably better than them during this five-week stretch. However, the travel will complicate things. With the Bills game being the night before Halloween, there will be more tricks than treats in Orchard Park when the Packers come to town. Even if Green Bay has this game circled on the calendar, there is a chance they come out flat.

It will take a ton of mental toughness for the Packers to avoid this potential Halloween letdown.
