The last time Ronald Acuña played against the Miami Marlins, the Braves outfielder tore his ACL. This time, he got some laughs out of it.

Acuña is as lighthearted as they come, and one of the faces of the game itself. The Atlanta Braves star knows he good, and loves to have fun on the diamond.

Yet, his previous season with the Braves, in which they went on to win the World Series, was cut short due to a torn ACL suffered against this same Marlins team. Brian Snitker and Co. are taking it easy with their star outfielder in his first month back off the injured list, so he’s not playing in the outfield this weekend due to the artificial turf.

Snitker probably doesn’t want Acuña running the basepaths like this, either.

If that’s not Ronald being Ronald, I don’t know what is.

Snitker surely doesn’t want to limit Acuña too much — that will only lead to further injury. But he’d rather the Braves best player not pull up while rounding first base like that, as it’s a quad issue waiting to happen.

Nonetheless, Acuña survived the experience, and had a good laugh at it, too, while karate kicking the air at first.

This was just one Acuña highlight, though, and I promised two.

Since he had more time on the bench thank usual, Acuña tried passing the time with some carpool karaoke. Unfortunately for him, the Bally Sports South camera caught him, and he made direct eye contact.

Has there ever been anyone more camera-savvy?

We need more of Ronald Acuña.
