No. 2: Parry Nickerson

It’s fair to say that Minnesota’s defense hasn’t been all that impressive this past season. It’d be pretty fair to criticize that defense as being pretty porous. So, what changes will they make to benefit everyone involved? Parry Nickerson recorded just one tackle last season. That’s far from ideal. He is also 27 years old and has played for four different franchises, it’s worth wondering what the Vikings will do here.

Has Nickerson done enough for the Vikings for him to solidify his spot on the roster and earn more meaningful playing time? It might not be a bad idea to keep Nickerson around for depth purposes. Or maybe they should give him an opportunity to play elsewhere. Maybe that would give him a shot at joining a team where he could either have meaningful playing time or one that would allow him to be a part of a team that actually wins.
