Lane Kiffin continues to bury Tennessee, trolls Vols baseball after stunning loss
Lane Kiffin might not love anything more than trolling the Tennessee Volunteers and the college baseball Super Regionals gave him the perfect chance.
Even after withstanding a hailstorm of mustard bottles and golf balls at Neyland Stadium, Ole Miss football coach Lane Kiffin just can’t quit taking shots at the Tennessee Volunteers.
On Sunday, he was provided yet another opportunity to do exactly that thanks to the NCAA Men’s College Baseball Tournament Super Regionals. Tennessee, the top overall seed and the heavy favorite to win it all in Omaha, faced an elimination Game 3 against Notre Dame on the day and, despite their credentials and boisterous behavior, came up short and are now headed home instead of to the College World Series.
Ole Miss, on the other hand, was able to complete a 2-0 series sweep on the “road” against in-state rival Southern Miss on Sunday.
So when a Vols fan came at Kiffin — a routine exercise for the head coach at this point — he naturally couldn’t resist and took a shot at the Vols for their loss.

Lane Kiffin trolls Tennessee after Vols baseball eliminated in Super Regionals
The Lane Train has many destinations, but there will always be time for a stop in the heads of every fan in Knoxville.
Kiffin has been an enigmatic and polarizing figure throughout his college football coaching career, titles that aren’t exclusive to his ultimately disastrous time at Tennessee. However, he’s seemingly found his niche more so than ever in recent years, specifically giving Ole Miss a level of excitement that was lacking in the couple of years prior to his arrival.
More importantly, though, Kiffin is always there to bring the content. And we can’t thank him enough for that.
