Nearing the halfway point in the month of June, there are still some huge series left to play before all is said and done.

It’s June 13 and the Yankees in the AL East and the Astros in the AL West are the only two division leaders who have an even remotely comfortable lead in their respective divisions.

In the AL Central, the Twins are just three games above the surprisingly strong Cleveland Guardians. In the NL East, the Mets lead the Braves by five and a half games. In the NL Central, the Cardinals lead the scuffling Milwaukee Brewers by just half a game. Ditto for the Dodgers over the Padres in the NL West.

While the month of June is just about halfway over, there are some massive MLB series coming up that you won’t want to miss the chance to see live.

5. Houston Astros @ New York Yankees, June 23-26

This series between the first-place Astros and first-place Yankees is going to be must-see TV. The Yankees are the best team in baseball so far this year (44-16 record .733 win percentage) and the Astros are not far behind (37-23 record .617 win percentage).

In this four-game set between these two juggernauts, Justin Verlander and Luis Garcia should both see a start in the series for Houston and Gerrit Cole and Nestor Cortes will each see a start as well. While this should be a lock for quite the pitchers’ duel, these clubs both possess incredible offenses so these four games could go either way.

For the Yankees starting pitchers, their ERAs read as follows: 3.63, 2.80, 2.70, 2.93, 1.96. Each and every pitcher on their staff is capable of a lights-out performance every time they take the mound.

On offense, the Bronx Bombers have been living up to their nickname largely in part to Aaron Judge suddenly becoming one of the best players in the game. Judge has 24 (!!) home runs already with a .318 batting average and .686 slugging percentage and his majestic, powerful swing will be on full display come the end of June against Houston.

While the Astros have a great pitching staff, most of their firepower comes from their offense. Jose Altuve, Kyle Tucker and Yordan Alvarez have combined to wreak havoc on opposing pitchers while Justin Verlander has hit a whole new level this year, posting a 1.94 ERA with 78 strikeouts and 15 walks in 78+ innings.
