The series finale between the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees saw plenty of home runs and a bunch of bat flips/drops. Here are three of the best ones.

The New York Yankees were on a nine-game winning streak entering June 19, and already took the series against the Toronto Blue Jays by taking the first two games. Toronto looked to make a statement, and did they ever.

In what was an entertaining back and forth, the Blue Jays pulled out the 10-9 win to bring an end to their three-game losing streak. The majority of the runs scored in this game arrived on nine home runs hit total. That means there were plenty of opportunities for some bat flips and bat drops.

As for which ones were the best, we ranked the top three pimp jobs from the game.

3. Lourdes Gurriel Jr.

Outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr.’s home run was a momentum changer. In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Blue Jays trailed 8-3. With the bases loaded and two outs, Gurriel sent a 99.3-mph sinker to deep left center field to cut their deficit to one. Not only that, but he provided Blue Jays fans with an epic bat flip.

2. Josh Donaldson

In the first inning, Yankees third baseman Josh Donaldson slammed his bat down to the ground in frustration after he was hit by a pitch by Yusei Kikuchi. Then in the top of the third inning, Donaldson sent his bat flying, but after hitting a go-ahead solo home run to dead center field to give the Yankees a 3-2 lead.

1. Teoscar Hernandez

Outfielder Teoscar Hernandez’s home run was pivotal. With the team trailing 8-7 in the bottom of the seventh inning, Hernandez sent a 88.5-mph changeup thrown by Wandy Peralta to center field to give the Blue Jays the late 10-8 lead.

Not only did this clinch the win for the Blue Jays, but Hernandez’s bat flip was one of epic proportions.
