AEW and NJPW hold their dual pay-per-view event, Forbidden Door, on Sunday, June 26 live from Chicago, IL.
Since All Elite Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that they were holding a dual pay-per-event titled Forbidden Door, fans were pumped about it. Now, the event is here, taking place on Sunday, June 26 live from the United Center in Chicago, IL.
Even though there have been various injuries and that have taken talents off of the card (AEW World Champion CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Tomohiro Ishii), it still has all of the makings to be the potential pay-per-view of the year.
An interim AEW World Champion will be crowned, as Jon Moxley takes on Hiroshi Tanahashi. “Switchblade” Jay White defends his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Kazuchika Okada, “Hangman” Adam Page and Adam Cole. Will Ospreay defends his IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship against Orange Cassidy. And those are just three matches on the 12-match card.
