Las Vegas Raiders. . Pick Analysis. WR. Davante Adams. player. 28. Scouting Report

Adding Davante Adams completely solves the Chiefs’ No. 1 wide receiver issues

A big reason why the Las Vegas Raiders could be here to stay in the AFC is the key additions the Silver and Black made this offseason. While one could have certainly argued for recent free-agent acquisition Chandler Jones to be the pass-rusher of choice in this exercise for the Chiefs, why not kick the Raiders where it hurts and take the No. 1 wide receiver they traded for in Davante Adams?

Over the last few years, it is hard to argue against Adams being the best wide receiver in football. He put forth a hall-of-fame-worthy career during his first eight years in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers. After catching touchdown pass after touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers, Adams reunites with his former college teammate and close friend in Raiders quarterback, Derek Carr.

While in this exercise, it would have been understandable to add Jones or Maxx Crosby for the pass rush, as well as Darren Waller to give the Chiefs the best tight end tandem … ever. However, Adams is the best wide receiver in the division currently and his departure from the Raiders hurts the Silver and Black considerably. This addition would make the Chiefs so powerful and dangerous.

It goes without saying that stealing Adams away from the Raiders solves the wide receiver issues.
