LeBron James shows up to Lakers Summer League game with his own snacks
By Scott Rogust
LeBron James brought his own snacks to the Los Angeles Lakers’ Summer League game on July 8.
Plenty of the NBA’s biggest stars have showed up to Las Vegas, Nev. to take in some Summer League action. Kyrie Irving, Draymond Green, and Ben Simmons are some of the names in attendance. Perhaps the biggest name was Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.
As he took in some of the Lakers Summer League game, he was spotted eating his own snacks from out of a Ziploc bag that he brought himself.

LeBron James brings own snacks to Lakers Summer League game
Let’s be real here, nothing is topping the two fans who brought Ziploc bags filled with spaghetti to a Baltimore Orioles home game at Camden Yards. Just saying.
James not only watched the Lakers’ Summer League game against the Phoenix Suns, but he also took time to chat with Lakers president Rob Pelinka and new head coach Darvin Ham, who replaced Frank Vogel in the offseason.
Speaking of the Summer League game, Los Angeles fell to Phoenix 104-84.
Scottie Pippen Jr., whom the Lakers signed after the 2022 NBA Draft, led the way by scoring 19 points while shooting 6-for-14 from the field. Pippen also recorded four rebounds, three assists, and three steals in over 24 minutes of playing time.
Max Christie, Los Angeles’ second-round pick, scored nine points (1-for-6 on field goals, 7-for-8 on free throws), grabbed eight rebounds, and recorded one assist in over 25 minutes.
The Lakers will be a team to follow as the offseason commences, especially if they have any huge moves planned. Let’s not forget that this is the final season that James will be under contract with the team before hitting free agency.
