Matthew Stafford’s latest interview will have Rams fans excited

Quarterback Matthew Stafford expressed his belief that the Los Angeles Rams can be better this year as compared to last year, when they won the Super Bowl.
Last offseason, the Los Angeles Rams pulled off a blockbuster trade with the Detroit Lions to acquire quarterback Matthew Stafford. The move was made to improve at the position and to achieve their goal of winning the Super Bowl. Sure enough, in his first season with the team, Stafford helped lead Los Angeles to Super Bowl 56, where they defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20.
During an interview with Stu Jackson of the Rams’ official website, Stafford said that with what he knows now about the team and the offense, he feels they can go “above and beyond what [they] did last year.”

Matthew Stafford believes Rams can ‘go above and beyond’ what they did last season
Given how he played last season, how can Rams fans not be hyped to hear Stafford say he believes the team can be even better than they the Super Bowl-winning was last year?
In his first season with the team, Stafford completed 67.2-percent of his passes for 4,886 yards, 41 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions. Through the four playoff games, Stafford passed for 1,188 yards, nine touchdowns, and three interceptions (70.0 completion percentage).
The offense will look a bit different entering 2022 as compared to 2021. The team signed former Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson to pair alongside Cooper Kupp and Van Jefferson in what is a huge addition for the team. However, they did trade Robert Woods to the Tennessee Titans, and Odell Beckham Jr. is currently a free agent as he recovers from a torn ACL suffered in Super Bowl 56.
Stafford and the Rams will look to repeat as Super Bowl champions. With the NFC being not as brutal of a path to the Super Bowl as the AFC, it would not be out of the realm of possibility to see them once again reach the big game.
They get their first big test in the season-opening game, where they face an AFC contender in the Buffalo Bills.
