Tiger Woods is heading back to St. Andrews and his Open Championship tee times have been announced so you know when to catch The Cat in action.

Despite all of the storylines in play at the Old Course at St. Andrews this week for the 150th Open Championship, Tiger Woods remains the sun that the golf solar system revolves around. And he’s set to tee it up at the venue where he won this major championship in 2005.

Open Championship tee times were announced on Tuesday morning and we learned that Tiger Woods will be grouped with Max Homa and US Open champion Matthew Fitzpatrick for Thursday and Friday over the first two rounds at The Open.

Tiger at The Open Championship is going to be the main event that every golf fans want to see, so we have all you need to watch him this week.

Tiger Woods Open Championship tee times for Thursday and Friday

Tiger Woods will be teeing for Round 1 on Thursday at 9:59 a.m. ET (2:59 p.m. local time). He will then be going off at 4:58 a.m. ET (9:58 a.m. local time) on Friday for his second round.

While it’s not the most brutal draw possible and all indications are that there should be fair weather for both waves — meaning not a favorable and unfavorable wave — the late-early starts for Thursday and Friday do create some intrigue and perhaps some worry about Woods.

In his comeback from the horrific leg injury he suffered in the car accident, he’s talked about the immense amount of time and effort it takes to recover. So the shorter turnaround time that the early-late wave would’ve provided could be detrimental to his chances.

With that said, this is a course that requires incredible savvy and smarts and no one is better than Tiger in those capacities. So perhaps that will be enough to carry him into the weekend at another major.
