By Eric Treuden
With the 2022 MLB Draft quickly approaching, FanSided answers some of the most common questions surrounding the event.
The Major League Baseball Draft is one of the most exciting events that takes place during the long MLB Season. The draft is fans’ first look at which top prospect their favorite team will select to be the potential star of the future.
What separates the MLB Draft from other professional sports leagues is that all players selected will immediately go to the minor leagues, where they can expect to spend multiple years as they develop.
