2. Bubba Watson may ditch the PGA Tour for LIV Golf

Another former Masters champion, a two-time Master champion, may be leaving the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf. Bubba Watson is yet another name to watch in the coming days. Watson would be joining fellow left-handed hitting major champion Phil Mickelson if he decides to align himself with the newest outfit in golf.

The 43-year-old Watson never made it to No.1 in the world like the aforementioned Adam Scott, but he came darn close. Watson climbed to No. 2 in 2015 and won the Masters Tournament in 2012 and 2014.

Watson has 12 PGA Tour wins to his credit and has also won twice on the European Tour. Beyond his two green jackets, Watson finished second at the PGA Championship in 2010 and tied for fifth in the US Open back in 2007.

Bubba Watson was one of the biggest hitters on tour during his prime, but the young guns on the PGA Tour have begun to leave the Florida native in the dust. Watson went on a hot streak back in 2018, winning three tournaments, but he’s not stood in the winner’s circle since the Travelers Championship that June.
