There are more than 80 All-Stars in 2022 and in a few weeks, a few of them could be traded to another team, if these MLB rumors are to be believed.

Tuesday is the day that more than 80 All-Stars will be honored at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Many of them will showcase their talents in the All-Star Game on Tuesday night but just two weeks after that is the MLB Trade Deadline. A few of those All-Stars that will be representing their team could be jumping ship to another team in the near future.

Here are 5 MLB All-Stars that are most likely to be traded before the trade deadline this year.

MLB rumors: Kansas City Royals, OF, Andrew Benintendi

The Kansas City Royals are one of the worst teams in baseball. Since outfielder Andrew Benintendi is having the best season of his career (he’s an All-Star for the first time) and is a free agent at the end of the season, he is almost certain to be traded.

Benintendi, 28, has played in 87 games this season and he has hit .317/.386/.401 with an OPS+ of 124. As that slugging percentage suggests, he has hit for a lot of singles (83) but he has 14 doubles and 37 RBI.

However, it was announced publicly that he is unvaccinated as he was unable to travel to Canada when the Royals faced the Blue Jays for a four-game series for the last series before the All-Star break.
