Nick Saban says he has no issues with Jimbo Fisher alright, so quit asking

Nick Saban says he does not have a problem with Jimbo Fisher alright, so quit asking.
In the wake of their high-profile NIL feud, Alabama head coach Nick Saban said he does not have any issues with Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher.
Tuesday was Alabama’s day to meet with the college football media at SEC Media Days in Atlanta. After an excellent first day in the Georgia state capital, Saban got the ball rolling in day two with this juicy Chick-fil-A nugget of a quote, alright.
"“I have no issues, problems with Jimbo.” said Saban at the podium Tuesday morning in Atlanta. “I always take criticism in a positive way … is there anyway I can do anything better? I have no issues and problems [with Jimbo].”"
Saban poked the bear earlier this summer when he basically accused Texas A&M of buying players with NIL money. While Saban is in favor of NIL compensation, he wants it to be equitable for all players involved, reserved for those who are already on campus. Pay-for-play is frowned upon and technically against the rules, but we all know that rules are meant to be broken in college athletics.
Fisher will have two days to mull on Saban’s early Tuesday morning comments from the podium.

Look. Anybody with a brain can see what Saban is doing here. He and Fisher may have been told by SEC commissioner Greg Sankey to play nice after their heated back-and-forth through the college football media. However, he is trying to position himself as the better man in this situation, while secretly hoping Fisher blows a gasket when it is his turn to speak with the media Thursday.
It should be noted that the greatest head coach in college football history is nearly as good at the podium. Every so often, he will give the media the quote its soul craves. We never know when it is coming, but when it does, buckle up! Although we are not talking about a team running through a defense like “s**t through a tinhorn”, Saban clearly decided to stoke the embers a bit with Fisher.
While Alabama played for a national title a year ago and is the reigning SEC champion, Texas A&M is hoping to find a seat at the table reserved only for the Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs. The Aggies are now recruiting at their level, but it has not come without suspicious looks from the outsiders. Either way, Saban is getting the SEC media on his side by saying he is cool with Fisher.
It remains to be seen if Fisher will take Saban’s bait or not when it is his turn to talk on Thursday.
