The 2022 NFL season is right on the horizon, and for all 32 NFL teams, hope springs eternal as training camps kick off. Each team has more than a few Pro Bowl-caliber players on the roster; some could be earning the honor for the first time this season.
Here, we look at one first-time Pro Bowler from each roster.
Predictions for 1 first-time Pro Bowler on all 32 NFL teams
Arizona Cardinals: Marquise Brown, WR
The Arizona Cardinals were given some tough news this offseason, as it was announced DeAndre Hopkins would miss the first six games due to a violation of the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy. That means players at the wideout position will need to step up in a big way, and one who is likely to thrive is Marquise Brown.
A teammate of quarterback Kyler Murray during their time at Oklahoma where they dominated the college football landscape during the 2018 season. Brown hauled in 75 passes for over 1,300 yards and ten touchdowns, statistics that could net him his first Pro Bowl nod in his first season in Arizona.
Atlanta Falcons: AJ Terrell, CB
Entering his third season in the NFL, AJ Terrell has already established himself as one of the better cornerbacks in the league. Last season, Terrell took his game to another level, earning second-team All-Pro honors, while grading out as the second-best CB in the NFL according to Pro Football Focus.
The 2022 season could be a special one for Terrell, who is already on the brink of superstardom, and will be expected to lead a very young Falcons secondary. With so many question marks on offense, Atlanta will need a lot from their defense in 2022, and Terrell will blossom into a superstar.
