After an insane first week of action, NHL Free Agency has mellowed out a bit but there is still a ton to go over. Let’s check out three winners and losers.

The opening week of NHL free agency was everything anyone could want it to be and more. An extensive list of hockey’s biggest stars found new homes like Darcy Kuemper, Johnny Gaudreau, Claude Giroux, Jack Campbell and many more.

Some landed exactly where they were predicted to go. Some, like Gaudreau, stunned the hockey world by signing with a surprising team that seemingly came out of nowhere. “Johnny Hockey” signed a huge deal with the Columbus Blue Jackets of all teams after being widely expected to go to a different team on a bigger stage.
