Aaron Rodgers’ training camp look was a whole vibe as the Packers quarterback produced his best impression of Nicholas Cage in Con Air.

It turns out the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers is also an exceptionally gifted Nicholas Cage impersonator.

Aaron Rodgers turned up for Packers training camp on Tuesday morning, which should have elicited a quick video from the team on social media and excitement from fans ready for the preseason to begin in earnest.

But, Rodgers was in blue jeans and a white tank top. With his now-signature long hair and beard, he was giving major Con Air vibes.

And Twitter had an absolute field day over it.

A lot of people immediately got the joke: Rodgers used his training camp entrance to cosplay as Cage’s character in Con Air, Cameron Poe, and loved it.

Others had a grand old time either making fun of Rodgers for the bit or comparing him to others with a similar look.

Love him or hate him, Rodgers is definitely a master at getting people talking.

Can he keep people talking by performing at a high enough level to win a third-straight MVP award? It’ll be a much tougher ask this year now that his go-to receiver, Davante Adams, is wearing different colors.

The Packers receiving corps is one of the biggest concerns on the roster no clear Adams-level No. 1 receiver.

Then again, if Rodgers puts up similar numbers as his last two seasons, with 85 combined touchdowns and a league-best quarterback rating, he’d be a shoo-in for MVP considering his lack of an elite supporting cast.

The pursuit of an individual award is one thing. The even bigger question is whether or not the Packers can use their dwindling window with a Hall of Fame quarterback to win another Super Bowl.
