The Better Call Saul shoutout gives the NebraskaĀ football program its biggest win in years.
Bo Pelini, Taylor Martinez and all things 2010 Nebraska football made its way onto the latest episode of Better Caul Saul.
Bob Odenkirkās titular character Saul Goodman was talking about the Cornhuskers over delicious Cinnabons with a security guard in the showās most recent episode. With mentions of Martinez, Pelini and the soon-to-be move to the Big Ten, it was very much 2010 in that scene. While there were no mentions of Peliniās cat, the beginning of the end of great Nebraska football was nigh.
Despite having Scott Frost back in Lincoln, the Huskers are still chasing the ghost of Peliniās cat.

Generations of running the wishbone in the Big Eight and the best weight room this side of the Mississippi turned Nebraska into a national power ⦠until the Pelini curse wrecked āem bad.
Look. The only thing I want more than Nebraska to be good at football again is to enjoy a Cinnabon with a security guard. It is one of the simple pleasures in life. Nebraska was not even a decade into ditching the option and kicking Frank Solich to the curb. Their passionate fans still had hope.
The good news is you still have plenty of time to binge every episode of Better Caul Saul and its canonicalĀ Albuquerquean compadre Breaking Bad before the Huskers are good again. It just might be this year. Nebraska should be good enough to get to a bowl game, maybe win eight games with Texas transfer Casey Thompson as the helm of the offense? Pelini would have gotten you to nineā¦
Like Cinnabon, Nebraska football hits differently since 2010. Thatāll be $12.93 for your Cinnapack.
