Packers: 3 best wide receivers Green Bay can add with Julio Jones off the market
The Green Bay Packers are still on the prowl for another WR to bolster Aaron Rodgers’ receiving corps but Julio Jones is no longer an option. Who is?
Replacing Davante Adams remains one of the bigger questions for the Packers this season.
Sammy Watkins, Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb as first-line options won’t exactly strike fear into the hearts of opposing defenses.
Julio Jones looked like an intriguing option for Green Bay to pursue. The news that he signed with the Buccaneers means the Packers will have to look elsewhere to reinforce the receiver room.

Odell Beckham Jr.
Odell Beckham is arguably as close to replacing Adams on pure talent as any other receiver in the free agent market.
The 29-year-old is just a couple of years removed from a 1,000-yard season with the Browns in 2019 with injuries and other team drama limiting his more recent production.
Still, he was a key piece in the Rams’ Super Bowl run last season despite dealing with the lingering effects of his 2020 ACL tear.
The good news for Beckham and whatever team ultimate signs him is that the ACL tear he suffered in the Super Bowl is essentially a reset on his left knee. He can come back healthier than before in 2022. It’ll just take time.
The Packers don’t necessarily have to rush. They can wait out his return as the season approaches knowing he won’t have many other opportunities to play for an elite quarterback like Rodgers.
