1. Jordan Love
We end this with a name that Packers fans are all too familiar with, Jordan Love.
In 2020, the Packers shocked the world by selecting Love out of Utah State with their first-round pick, instead of giving Aaron Rodgers a playmaker on offense. The selection was an obvious succession plan in case Rodgers was the move on from the team at some point, whether that was through a trade, release, or retirement.
But in his third training camp, Love has earned praise from the coaching staff. On Aug. 3, head coach Matt LaFleur said that Love had “one of his best practices we’ve seen in three years.” LaFleur’s praise continued on Aug. 5, where he said that the third-year quarterback “has shown a lot of growth” following Family Night. The quotes come courtesy of Zach Kruse of the Packers Wire.
Matt LaFleur on Jordan Love's Tuesday practice: "One of his best practices we've seen in three years. He made some big-time throws, with pressure in his face."

"Jordan has shown a lot of growth in my eyes."
"Jordan, it's been pretty impressive what he's been able to put together the last few practices."
Love made his first career start last season against the Kansas City Chiefs after Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19. He completed 19-of-34 pass attempts for 190 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the 13-7 loss.
With Love impressing and growing throughout training camp, the Packers may have their next quarterback for the foreseeable future, or a solid backup option if Rodgers were to go down with an injury. But if Rodgers is showing no signs of retiring any time soon, Love could generate some interest from quarterback-needy teams, and the Packers could get a decent return.
