No. 1: WR Tajae Sharpe

Wide receiver. The position that the outside world has screamed about for the Bears and the lack of names. See Dan Orlovsky taking a shot at Darnell Mooney. But forget the analysts and the critiques for a second. Tajae Sharpe had some really nice catches against the Chiefs. The injuries at the position allowed him to step in and showcase what he can do, and he delivered. That said, though, one game is not going to drop jaws or change minds.

The Bears still have one of the weakest receiving groups in the league. That’s not to say that they can’t improve; they absolutely can. It will involve other guys coming in and making the most of the opportunity they receive. The NFL is not a league for relaxing, and the Bears simply cannot afford to do that anymore. Tajae Sharpe is a good example of it, and he likely secured a 53-man roster spot after this performance. Good for him, but there’s more work to do.
