16. G Zack Martin

Solid offensive line play has been the hallmark of the Dallas Cowboys for any number of years. And for the last decade or so, the Dallas Cowboys have had some tremendous performers in the trenches. While left tackle Tyron Smith (more on him later) and since-retired center Travis Frederick were part of some very formidable offensive fronts, guard Zack Martin continues to excel at his craft.

All told, the past year proved to be a bounce back campaign for the former Golden Domer. The eight-year veteran played in a career-low 10 games in 2020. But after the seven-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro sat out the season opener at Tampa, he was back in the starting lineup for the remainder of the season.

Mike McCarthy’s club finished with the league’s top-ranked offense in 2021. The Cowboys also ranked ninth in rushing and scored an NFL-high 530 points. While a healthy Dak Prescott obviously played a big role in the team’s bounce back year after a 6-10 finish in 2020, having Martin as a steady force cannot be understated.

When available (which is often the case), the 16th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft remains one of the best offensive lineman in the league.
