2. QB Aaron Rodgers

The talented signal-caller always seems to be in the news, whether it’s about football or life in general.

Green Bay Packers’ quarterback Aaron Rodgers certainly has his critics, some more vocal than others. But there’s no denying the talent even if the franchise has not wound up with as many Super Bowl rings as some believe the Pack should have under his command.

The last three years have been disappointing when it comes to the team. Matt LaFleur’s club has won 13 games in each of those campaigns but haven’t been able to reach the Super Bowl. Some would say that all falls on Rodgers and of course – fair or not – some would say that comes with the job.

But this is about the 17-year veteran’s career and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The numbers are simply mind-boggling. All told, Rodgers has thrown 449 touchdown passes compared to just 93 interceptions in 213 regular-season contests. He’s a 10-time Pro Bowler, four-time All-Pro and four-time NFL MVP – earning those latter honors each of the past two seasons.

In 22 postseason contests, Rodgers has served up more than three times as many aerial scores (45) as picks (13). But in recent years, it’s been more about what he and the team have not done rather than what they have accomplished under LaFleur. Again, fair or not.
