It is going to be a rough season for these college football teams in their Power Five leagues.

Not all Power Five conferences are created equally, but these college football teams may be awful.

For every Alabama and Ohio State, there are the other guys. Unfortunately, there are no Allen Gambles or Terry Hoitzes to save us from all the David Ershon madness that is about to ensue. But before you aim for the bushes like Detectives Christopher Danson and P.K. Highsmith did at the peak of their powers, check out this list first before you decide to give the ole desk pop a shot.

While no Christiniths were harmed in the making of this slideshow, you may want to spike your Arnold Palmer first before diving headfirst into Gamble’s stolen Toyota Prius. (Bee-you! Bee-you!)

Big Ten: Indiana Hoosiers play in the tougher division and also draw Cincinnati

Admittedly, the Big Ten was by far and away the toughest league to figure which team will stink the most. Unless you are Iowa or better (you know who you are and stop lying to yourself if you think you’re better than the Hawkeyes when you’re clearly not), it can hit the fan pretty fast in Big Ten country. Unfortunately, the Indiana Hoosiers play in the tougher of the two league’s divisions…

Two years ago, this was a team that would have been in the mix to make an expanded College Football Playoff, if there was such a thing. Well, Tom Allen’s Hoosiers won two games last year, and it may not be any better in 2022. Indiana has two tough draws in the non-conference vs. Western Kentucky and at Cincinnati. The question is how many Big Ten games can they win?

Out of the Big Ten West, Indiana hosts Illinois in Week 1, plays at Nebraska on Oct. 1 and ends the season vs. Purdue. It is hard to argue for any of the three being a Big Ten win for the Hoosiers. In divisional play, they host Michigan, Maryland and Penn State, while facing Rutgers, Michigan State and Ohio State on the road. The Maryland date is the most winnable, followed by the Rutgers one.

Ultimately, Indiana will need to catch a couple of breaks to even achieve bowl eligibility. In division, Maryland and Rutgers have more momentum over them. While teams like Illinois, Nebraska and Northwestern could be bad as well, they don’t have to play Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State like the Hoosiers do. Here is to being wrong, but Indiana is so up against it, y’all.

Since this is an even year, Northwestern should be better than expected, leaving Indiana in last…
