2. Yankees manager Aaron Boone

Aaron Boone was already on thin ice with many Yankees fans after his first four years as the club’s manager have gotten exactly zero World Series appearances, let alone World Series wins. He got back in good graces with fans after they started the season going 61-23. However, they have gone 14-25 since then.

With their torrid start, the club will still most likely make the playoffs but the Yankees have to, and I mean have to at least get to the World Series. If the Yankees don’t get to the World Series, they need to clean house and Aaron Boone should be one of the first people out of the door. If they get to it and lose, it’s borderline. The only way his job is 100 percent safe is if they win the World Series.

In 2017, the Yankees surprised a lot of people after firing manager Joe Girardi after losing Game 7 of the ALCS to the Astros but if it the Yankees were to do the same thing this year, it would not surprise Yankees fans if it happened and, in fact, they would be flooding social media complaining that the team would fire him the next day after the series was over and not that night.
