Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams says that Aaron Rodgers has the “Michael Jordan effect.”
There were plenty of groundbreaking moves made this NFL offseason. One of the largest was the Green Bay Packers trading wide receiver Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders, where he signed a $140 million contract extension. With that, the Raiders showed that they are fully devoted to contend in the AFC by giving quarterback Derek Carr his former Fresno State teammate, Adams.
Speaking of Adams, he recently appeared on “The Pivot Podcast,” where he spoke about his former quarterback, Aaron Rodgers. In fact, Adams said that Rodgers is one of the best in the game and said he had the “Michael Jordan effect.”

Davante Adams says Aaron Rodgers has ‘Michael Jordan effect’
This will certainly make Packers fans nostalgic.
Rodgers has been at the top of his game recently, as evidenced by the NFL MVP awards he has won for each of the past two seasons. With that, the Packers negotiated with Rodgers, and agreed to terms on a three-year, $150 million contract extension. Adams was also looking for an extension, but ultimately the trade to the Raiders was finalized.
Adams joins a Raiders passing attack that includes tight end Darren Waller and wide receiver Hunter Renfrow. With that, he will look to replicate the chemistry he and Carr had playing for the Fresno State football program.
As for Rodgers, he is working with a relatively younger receiving corps with the additions of Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs, both of whom were selected in the NFL Draft. But, there are veterans such as Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, and Sammy Watkins for Rodgers to target as well.
