Twitter has hilarious reaction to Eagles sending Jalen Reagor to play with Justin Jefferson
By Josh Wilson
Jalen Reagor was constantly compared to Justin Jefferson when he was on the Eagles. Now that he’s on the Minnesota Vikings, that won’t slow down.
Justin Jefferson was taken with the 21st pick in the 2020 NFL Draft right after Jalen Reagor, and since then, Reagor’s work has been incessantly compared to the guy taken one pick after him.
It’s not been pleasant.
Jefferson has amassed over 3,000 yards and 17 touchdowns, catching over 67 percent of his targets for the Minnesota Vikings. Reagor has put up under 700 yards, scored just three touchdowns, and caught 58 percent of his targeted passes with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Yikes. Well, at least Reagor doesn’t have to work with Jefferson.
Oh… wait.
The Eagles made a trade on Wednesday sending Reagor to Minnesota that puts him on the same roster as the guy who has been giving him nightmares throughout his NFL career.
Here’s the return for the Eagles:

Twitter had jokes after the trade.
One user predicted the trade, knowing that Reagor was not going to be able to handle C.J. Gardner-Johnson’s in-practice antics:
The Eagles front office is just savage, as one user pointed out:
Eagles fans can get griddy on their own now that Reagor is out of Philly:
NSFW, but some of them are very happy he’s gone:
Other Philly fans are doing what they do best and being cynical about what to expect when they face the Vikes later this year:
Can we just get a farewell like this, though?
We’ll see if Reagor can turn it around in Philly.
