Those who drafted Los Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers to their fantasy team were not happy to see Darrell Henderson get the majority of the carries to start the season opener.
With the 2022 NFL season officially beginning on Sept. 8, that means it is also the beginning of the fantasy football campaign. That means those who drafted a team will be monitoring the players on their teams like they are an actual general manager.
For those who used a draft pick on Los Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers were not exactly thrilled to see that he received virtually no carries in the first half of the season opener against the Buffalo Bills. In fact, the majority of the carries went to Darrell Henderson.

Darrell Henderson handled all 4 carriers.
Fantasy football managers furious Cam Akers barely played in first half of Rams vs. Bills
Much is the case throughout the season, fantasy managers take to Twitter to vent their frustrations about what they were seeing. That, and people who were making jokes about Henderson receiving more carries than Akers.
We have our first fantasy football question of the year: where in the world is Cam Akers?

For those wondering, Akers got a grand total of two carries in the first half, where he accumulated a total of zero yards. In terms of a snap count, Akers received five snaps out of 32 plays, per Nathan Jahnke of Pro Football Focus.
As for Henderson, he received 27 snaps in the first half. He received seven carries, which he turned into 33 rushing yards. Henderson also caught his lone target from Rams quarterback Matt Stafford for a one-yard gain.
Everyone who drafted Akers and started him in your Week 1 playoffs is not happy.
