The NFL season opener has finally arrived. The Super Bowl 56 champion Los Angeles Rams hosted the Buffalo Bills at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.
Much like there is every season-opener, there are going to some new faces, specifically from players who arrived via the NFL Draft from college. For the Bills, they played second-round rookie running back James Cook.
Those who watched the game may be wondering if he is related to Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook.

Where did James Cook go to college?
Before playing for the Bills, Cook spent his collegiate career playing for the Georgia Bulldogs.
In 2017, Cook committed to Georgia as a four-star recruit out of Miami, Fla, where he was the third-ranked all purpose back in the nation, per 247 Sports Composite.
This past season with the Bulldogs, Cook ran for 728 yards and seven touchdowns on 113 carries in 15 games. Cook also caught 27 passes for 284 yards and four touchdowns. He ended his collegiate career as a CFP national champion, where he ran for 66 yards and seven carries in Georgia’s 33-18 win over Alabama.
Cook was selected with the 63rd-overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
