In his postgame press conference, Saints defensive back Demario Davis laid the disrespect on thick after a Week 1 win over the Atlanta Falcons.

The New Orleans Saints pulled out a win in exciting fashion in their Week 1 contest over the Atlanta Falcons. After falling behind by 9 at the half, the Saints fell further, trailing 23-10 going into the fourth quarter.

Late game heroics from Jameis Winston throwing to Michael Thomas, Jarvis Landry, and rookie receiver Chris Olave kept the Saints in the game. Outscoring the Falcons 17-3 in the fourth quarter, the Saints rallied and came away with the win on the road.

The Saints had a heck of a time in the locker room after the win. Right Foot Creep by Young Boy Never Broke Again was blasting in the locker room, perhaps a nod to the team’s final score that came off Will Lutz’s right foot, a 51-yard field goal.

Demario Davis had some fun postgame by flying a Falcons flag in his postgame press conference

In addition to the music in the locker room, Demario Davis had some fun with some props in his postgame presser. He brought an Atlanta Falcons flag, making a bit of a mockery of the team’s name and logo.

If you’re a Saints fan, you love to see it. If you’re a Falcons fan, it adds insult to injury.

Earlier in the day, Tyrann Mathieu was seen sporting a Deion Sanders/Falcons vintage t-shirt for warmups, so it’s not the first Saint we’ve seen with Dirty Bird colors. Of course, this context makes a lot more sense than Mathieu’s did.

Players getting into an age-old rivalry… You love to see it.
