The NFL is kicking off its 2022 season, and there have been some changes to players on the injured lists and active rosters.

The 2022 NFL season is officially starting, and there have been some last-minute updates to active and inactive players across the league.

NFL insider Field Yates of ESPN announced 11 total changes to the active and inactive rosters for several different teams, which are notable for Fantasy Football. The season is starting with some changes to consider.

These 11 players have changed status entering today’s games.

Michael Thomas Week 1 injury report

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas was listed as officially active and is expected to play in today’s game. Thomas faced a knee injury that’s still thought of as “questionable,” but his recovery will be tested as he begins his first season with quarterback Jameis Winston.

Drake London Week 1 injury report

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London is expected to face Thomas and the Saints in today’s game and is also considered questionable following a knee injury. He’s been dealing with the injury since the first preseason game, and he’ll hopefully prove to be in good health for his career debut.

Jakobi Meyers Week 1 injury report

New England Patriots wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is expected to play against the Miami Dolphins this afternoon despite being listed as questionable following a knee injury, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Logan Thomas Week 1 injury report

Washington Commanders tight end Logan Thomas will play in the season opener today following a left ACL tear nine months ago. ACL injuries are major, so he’s unsurprisingly still listed as questionable. However, coach Ron Rivera reportedly stated that Thomas looked good in practice. This will be his first game since December.

Ty Montgomery Week 1 injury report

Another Patriots player, Ty Montgomery, could play today following an ankle injury in the preseason finale against the Las Vegas Raiders. The running back was carted to the locker room following the injury and didn’t look good, but he wasn’t placed on the injured reserve.

According to NBC Sports Boston, coach Bill Belichick said, “Every player who isn’t on IR has a chance to play in the season opener.”

J.K. Dobbins Week 1 injury report

Baltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins has been listed as inactive following an ACL tear last season. There was hope for Dobbins as he practiced (though limited) throughout this week, but the Ravens seem to be playing it safe for the young RB. He could potentially play next week, according to CBS Sports.

George Kittle Week 1 injury report

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has been listed as inactive with a groin injury. He missed each practice this week, so it’s unsurprising he’ll miss the opener today as well. His injury appeared over the past week, so it’s unclear how long he’ll be out.
