Tyreek Hill had an unreal NSFW quote about Mike McDaniel after beating Patriots

Tyreek Hill had an incredible compliment for Mike McDaniel after a gutsy call that helped them win their Week 1 game, but it was a little NSFW.

The Miami Dolphins kicked off the Mike McDaniel era with a convincing 14-point win over the New England Patriots in Week 1. Tyreek Hill as an offseason acquisition proved to be worth it with eight receptions for 94 yards on 12 targets.

Perhaps his best contribution was after the game, though, when he gave reporters a quote that they might not even be able to print in Monday’s paper about new head coach Mike McDaniel.

Speaking to reporters after the game about the win and how it all transpired, Tyreek Hill spoke about Mike McDaniel’s, erm… guts. We won’t print it here because it’s a tad NSFW, but give it a listen for yourself:

This quote while sporting Pit Viper sunglasses… Yeah, that’s pure Miami vibes for Hill.

It’s an accurate way to put it. McDaniel trusted his team to go for it on fourth-and-seven with 18 seconds left in the first half. Miami was up 10-0 at the point, so it wasn’t the riskiest play with time running out anyway, but the Dolphins were at midfield (NE 42) and would have surrendered the last plays of the half to Mac Jones and the Patriots with great field position to attempt to bring it within three points going into the half.

Jaylen Waddle snagged the pass from Tua Tagovailoa and got great yardage for a touchdown after shaking a tackle.

If McDaniel has those guts to bring with him the rest of the season, he just might finally take the Dolphins to the postseason for the first time since 2016.
