5 best fantasy football matchups to exploit for Week 2
4. Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. New England Patriots)
The Steelers won a nail-biter on Sunday, upsetting the Bengals in overtime despite Mitch Trubisky only throwing for 194 yards. Diontae Johnson was quiet, catching seven balls for only 55 yards.
The catches and targets are encouraging, however, and he will have a chance to improve on those stats this week. Even with the lack of firepower from Trubisky, Johnson is still the clear No. 1.
New England looked awful all around on Sunday, getting dominated on offense and defense by the Dolphins.
Tyreek Hill caught eight balls for 94 yards; a stat line I can see Johnson replicating in Week 2. The Patriots’ cornerbacks aren’t great, and Johnson is good at exploiting a good matchup. Expect him to have a better Week 2 as a reliable WR2.
