5 best fantasy football matchups to exploit for Week 2
3. Javonte Williams, Denver Broncos (vs. Houston Texans)
The Texans, in one of Week 1’s surprising games, were able to tie with the Indianapolis Colts. Regardless of their near-upset, they still allowed 177 yards on the ground from Indy, which was the sixth-most allowed in Week 1.
They’ll likely be another run-funnel defense again this year. Last year, Houston was the second-worst run defense only behind Pittsburgh. They allowed 142.2 yards per game. That average is already being tested after Week 1.
Javonte Williams gets the Texans next and has a chance to absolutely blow the doors off this game based on how the Texans were unable to stop Jonathan Taylor in Week 1. Williams will be a solid play this week with top-10 upside.
He, and even Melvin Gordon, can be solid plays in daily fantasy lineups this week. For redraft leagues, Williams is an easy RB2.
