2. Ben DeLuzio has been fun, but don’t expect him around much longer

DeLuzio has been a fun addition to the Cardinals since his Sept. 1 call-up. He’s a scrappy little outfielder with some speed. He’s hit pretty well since joining the Cardinals at .333/.600/.333 with an OPS of .933 and two runs scored.

He’s played seven games in center field, netting seven putouts and one defensive run saved.

Once again, it will be hard to see DeLuzio sticking around once all of the veteran outfielders are healthy. DeLuzio is a speedy and dynamic player, but the Cardinals will need their veteran players front and center in the coming weeks.

DeLuzio is the type of scrappy player St. Louis fans adore. Given more experience and adding some muscle,  it will be fun to see where DeLuzio will fit in the future.
