Fantasy football receiver sleepers for Week 2: Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers

Rostered: 21.1%

The Packers’ offense struggled against the Minnesota Vikings, but I’m not overreacting.

Last season, the Packers’ offense scored only three points against the New Orleans Saints in Week 1. In Week 2, they bounced back to score 35 points against the Detroit Lions.

Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers remains at quarterback, and the Packers’ offense is destined to turn things around.

Allen Lazard should return to the lineup soon and be the number one wide receiver. The second spot on the depth chart remains up for grabs. Last week, Romeo Doubs made the best case for the job. He hauled in four out of his five targets for 37 yards. Fellow rookie Christian Watson dropped a wide-open touchdown, and veterans Randall Cobb and Sammy Watkins had a combined five receptions for 32 yards.

Doubs is a sleeper with long-term potential. He is not just a matchup play. He could hold value for the rest of the season.

Fantasy football receiver sleepers for Week 2: Olamide Zaccheaus, Atlanta Falcons

Rostered: 0.2%

Against the Saints, Olamide Zaccheaus had four receptions for 49 yards. He clearly outpaced Bryan Edwards, who had zero receptions and only one target.

Moving forward, Zaccheaus should be locked in as the Falcons’ second wide receiver behind Drake London.

On Sunday, the Falcons will face the Rams. The Rams’ defense just allowed 31 points against the Bills in Week 1, and last season, the Rams’ defense actually allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.

Zaccheaus is an under-the-radar option, who could be in store for a big game.
