Fantasy football receiver sleepers for Week 2: Donovan Peoples-Jones, Cleveland Browns

Rostered: 4.0%

In Week 1, Jacoby Brissett targeted Donovan Peoples-Jones a game-high 11 times! The 11 targets also marked a new career-high for Peoples-Jones.

Last season, he flashed upside posting double-digit fantasy points in five individual games, including a 26.1-point performance in Week 6 against the Cardinals.

Following the departures of Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr., Peoples-Jones should continue to see more volume in Cleveland’s passing game.

Peoples-Jones is an excellent streaming option this week facing the Jets’ defense. The Jets gave up the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers last season.

Fantasy football receiver sleepers for Week 2: Curtis Samuel, Washington Commanders

Rostered: 57.7%

In Week 1, Curtis Samuel had eight receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars. More importantly, he was targeted a team-high 11 times.

In 2020, Samuel was on fantasy radars. In 15 games, he had 77 receptions for 851 yards and three touchdowns for the Carolina Panthers.

After signing a three-year deal with Washington in the offseason, Samuel played sparingly in 2021, as he struggled with injuries. He ended up appearing in only five games and was limited to only 84 total offensive snaps.

Now that he is healthy, Samuel is, once again, an impactful fantasy option. He is a great streaming option this week against the Detroit Lions. The Lions’ defense gave up 38 points to the Philadelphia Eagles last week.
