Will Levis. 7. player. 10. . QB. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans have played hard-nosed football through the first two weeks, which we would have expected under new head coach Lovie Smith. The problem is, it has netted them a tie and a loss, and the offense is struggling with Davis Mills as their quarterback.

With pick No. 7, the Texans could look to bring in a new franchise guy, and Will Levis is projected to be a top-10 quarterback in 2023. He would be the future, even if Mills starts in 2023, but if Mills continues to struggle, that is not a foregone conclusion at this point.

8. player. 54. . CB. Philadelphia Eagles. Eli Ricks

The Philadelphia Eagles look like one of the best teams in the NFL this season, and incredibly, they hold the No. 8 overall pick in our latest mock draft. That is because of their trade with the New Orleans Saints, so with an early-round pick, they can continue to stack new talent.

The secondary is a place the Eagles could target early in the 2023 NFL Draft, and Alabama cornerback Eli Ricks is going to be a solid player at the next level. Philadelphia looks like the best team in the NFC East, and with a top-10 pick, the rich get richer.
