Denver Nuggets: Nikola Jokic, 7 years

A second-round pick in the 2014 draft (No. 41 overall), back-to-back MVP Nikola Jokic did not join the Nuggets until the 2015-16 season. That was also Michael Malone’s first season as the Nuggets’ head coach. This would have been Will Barton’s spot, a Nugget since the 2014-15 trade deadline, but Barton and fellow long-time Nugget Monte Morris were traded this offseason by new GM Calvin Booth to the Wizards for KCP and Ish Smith. That means Jokic’s oldest teammate now is Jamal Murray, together since 2016-17.

Add The Joker to the list of players on this longest-tenured players list that received a contract extension this summer, signing a five-year, $264 million supermax extension through the 2027-28 season.
